Starting to use my Mac more, and as I sit here doing research into a number of things, I figured I’d set up a new blog for myself. I opened up iWeb, and started typing this up.

I’d forgotten just how nice iWeb really is. Not having to fight with an SSG or CMS really gives me more of an incentive to write my thoughts again. And I mean that, too. Pelican and Jekyll were a real pain to work with, especially when things like themes broke. And they broke often for me.

Yet, iWeb generates blogs pretty damned well, even though I can’t easily theme it. But I really don’t care about theming it as much anymore, so having this dark theme works perfectly fine.

And I do want to talk about Mac and tech stuff more, but mostly about the older Mac stuff. Given that I’m going to try learning C and Obj-C, I’ll probably talk about that as well. Maybe I’ll even drop some things I make into here. Also looking into making some Dashboard widgets as well, just because I still have an interest in those.

But for now, I’m going to get back to that research.
